Our Year 5 and 6 Drama Club performed Romeo and Juliet at Richmond Theatre on 28th November. They were supported by school staff and their parents who joined the audience to watch 4 Shakespeare plays in total. Obviously we thought Ivybridge were the best – they were brilliant! Many congratulations to the children and a huge thanks to Mr J and Mrs Lwin who worked so hard to bring this all together, we are very proud of you all.

Mayor goes back to her roots!
Today Hounslow’s Mayor, Councillor Sue Sampson, visited us to help plant some new trees. Our local parish church, All Souls, arranged the donation of the trees by The Conservation Foundation through the Trees for Sacred Spaces project, which is supported by the Mayor of London. The vicar of All Souls, Richard Frank, joined us to help plant the trees with members of our school council, our Head Boy, Head Girl and Chair of Governors also lending a hand.
Councillor Sampson has fond memories of Ivybridge Primary as she attended the school as a child and enjoyed her return visit. We were very glad that she was able to find the time to join us and are looking forward to the trees flowering in the spring.
