We have been asked by Public Health to remind everyone to follow social distancing rules during half term as COVID-19 cases locally are continuing to rise. There are an increasing number of people being admitted to hospital. Please remember that you cannot socialise with other households indoors so, during half term, children must only play with their friends outside in parks. We have been very fortunate to have only had one positive case in school this half term so thank you to everyone for sticking to the rules and keeping everyone safe. Have a safe and happy half term!

A Huge Thank You to All Our Families!
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all our families for being so supportive this half term and making so much effort to ensure that the children are attending school regularly despite the current situation.
So far this term 3 classes have achieved 100% attendance for whole weeks. These are Mercury with 100% attendance for 5 out of 6 weeks, Apollo for 3 out of 6 weeks and Saturn also for 3 out of 6 weeks. Well done to all of you that is amazing!
Currently our overall attendance is much higher than the average for all schools across the borough and last week our attendance was 98.8% – so nearly perfect from everyone.
It has been lovely to have all the children back at school; they have settled back in so well and have worked very hard to make up for missing the summer term. Well done to everyone!
Have a lovely half term next week – keep safe and we look forward to another successful half term before Christmas.
Bike to School Week 2020
Well done to Geeta – Year 3, Leena – Year 2, Aarave – Year 2 and Asmaa – Year 6 for the best cycle helmet design for ‘Bike to School Week’.
