We’re taking part in @Sustrans #BigPedal – the UK’s biggest #cycling, #walking #scooting and #wheeling to school competition. Encourage your children to take active journeys or do physical activity on as many days as possible from 19- 30 April.
Our school will be taking part in the 1 day challenge on Friday 23rd April.
You will have all received a letter about the Easter Holiday Scheme running here at Ivybridge Primary, we now know there are other schemes running at other schools, leisure centres and settings in the borough which our pupils can also attend. These schemes are free to all children entitled to means tested free school meals, for other children paid for places are also available.

As schools reopen to all pupils again on Monday we are asking that you do all that you can to help us to keep everyone safe and to stop the rates of infection from Coronavirus increasing again. One thing you can do is to get yourself tested to ensure that you are not carrying the virus, one in three people who have Coronavirus show no symptoms and do not realise they may be spreading it to their friends and family.

We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday. Some arrangements have needed to be changed due to the current virus being more infectious. There have been changes to the arrangements for dropping children off, the requirement for adults to wear masks and also what to do in the event of your child being unwell.
